And, here I thought that I would be the last to write a blog. I'm not really known for being punctual with things like this (see my bio, ghost-written by Brendan).
This is the second time I'm writing this because I didn't know that this would time out. Blech. Anyway, here's my first blog.

ALBUM REVIEW:
TRAINWRECK
"STEAMER"
A++++++ or 9 out of 5 stars or.. 14 Muskoxen Snorts? We don't have a ratings system yet, but simply put, this is probably one of the best rock albums in history. Someday in the near future Rolling Stone will do one of those "100 Greatest Albums of All Time" articles, and I'm betting that the top three will look like this:
1. The Beatles, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
2. Led Zeppelin, "IV"
3. Trainwreck, "Steamer"
It's a rare thing that genius is recognized in its time, but in some cases the geniosisity is so undeniable that it transcends all bounds. This is one of those cases.
Now, some naysayers might say that a time-defying testament to genius wouldn't have so many references to taints, or that an album of 8 songs (such as "IV" or "Steamer") should probably only have 3-4 songs about inappropriate/borderline misogynistic sex. Those people are wrong. This album has 5 such songs, plus one the extolls the virtues of fellatio. Not only does it never get old, the combination of the lyrics and the virtuosic musicianship puts this album in a category with the great works of Beethoven, Duke Ellington, and Patrick Swayze. It also definitively earns Trainwreck the title of God's Favorite Band.
