Man-Showers - The Muskoxen Did It First

Something the Muskoxen have noticed lately has been the popularity of "man showers." That is, a celebration of the man before his first child arrives.
We want to clear it up - here and now - that we were the trailblazers of this particular activity. Yes, folks, before Scott Baio did it (and even called it a Man Shower), the Muskoxen planned and executed what we titled the Man-Shower. You can read all about it in the Events area.
In short, in 2006, before my daughter was born, we decided to have a blowout in Atlantic City and go to a Pogues concert. It was fantastic, it provided the impetus for forming the Muskoxen, and it was one hell of a party. Check the pictures in our gallery. In fact, the two stacked pictures in the left side of our top banner are from that weekend. We even had shirts made for the occasion.
We know we probably weren't the first people to do this kind of thing, but we had definitely never heard of anything like that before. And definitely had never heard the term, Man-Shower. So before you start giving credit to My Man Shower, Scott Baio, or some article about how the latest hot thing to do is to throw a party for the man before the baby comes, please, at least give us credit for coining the term.
